The author of Good Riddance To All saw my fanart and i took that as a sign to finally read the new chapter and oh my god

Anyway here's some grta Pearl fanart because i love her so very much

I'm not sure if her staff ever gets a description in the fic and i am far too impatient to go hunting for one soo i thought a skull would be fitting for a necromancer

I wasn't quite sure how to go about her disguised face situation but i think i managed to capture how I've been imagining it?? Sort of swirling together and uncertain but still recognisable as a face? I hope i did it justice

That new chapter was so awesome though oh my god!! Ashitaku mention btw?? I absolutely love how the canon kov background characters have been brought into this story it's so cool (i actually remember rewatching kov after reading the chapter Christina was introduced and recognising her in the like minute she was in the series lol)

Also!! I knew it was gonna be Jimmy (and I'm theorising Martyn as well?) that were riling up the crowd against the guards, i was like tall, blonde and Pearl says he's familiar?? Ugh i hope they all end up okay next chapter

And goddamn this chapter had me freaking out at every new thing, i had a feeling after last chapter (the one before maybe?) that Trinculo wouldn't be dead since we never actually see him die but ughhhh to have it confirmed is SICKENING

Inktober 17 - Azumi and GRTA - from the new Netflix show Maniac. I’ve only got up to episode 3 so no spoilers! Dr? Azumi seems like a really dark and interesting character, and I’m really invested in the retro/dystopian future world aesthetic, hoping for some more worldbuilding soon. There’s this weird balance between dystopia edginess and ironic humour and I want to see where this show takes me!

For those who haven’t seen any of it, GRTA is the computer in the back.

Also I’m counting this as Inktober because A. I started it as a sketch and then went to the computer to finish it off, and B. Inktober shouldn’t be about elitism, it’s just to encourage artists to create art more often.

Nobody should feel any shame for not sticking to an official theme, or not doing everything traditionally, or not keeping up every single day. If you can, great! If you can’t, nobody should make you feel bad about that.
