You ever think about how in a book about the cycle of violence and trauma the two original undersiders who are the most abrasive personalities wise are the ones to succeed in escaping it in comparison to the rest at least

Regent technically did so by leaving heartbreaker and definitely did with imp there power interactions are an Allegory for consent and he gave his life for her the boy who seemed to see other people as objects now gives his life for another person

Rachel found a community that cared for her and wouldn’t judge her for being different and was able to set down roots and be in a safe place for the first time him her life the girl who was hurt and had to run can live in (some piece) with a community that cares

In contrast Brian only helped Aisha in the end due to the city collapsing never fully managed to get control with his toxic masculinity or the trauma from his home life then bonesaw happened and he just understandably spirals then we time skip and he dies

Lisa went from blaming herself for her brothers suicide and being abused for info by her parents to being used by coil for the same reason and failing to to stop Taylor from self destruction she just got more burnt out if anything

And Taylor just pushed further in to her trauma and her coping mechanisms (cape life) just made it worse over time as she slowly self destructed as her want for people to just care and do there job lead to her trying to do it all in the most self destructive way possible

Aisha I don’t have as much to say on she’s a great character (Baring her racist intro) I like her arc but the way her story ends feels more like set up for what would eventually become ward more than anything

So this is a thing that me and @penelopetheverytrans collaborated on, I did the doodles for the sprites and she put the video together. I hope y’all like it, makes me laugh :)
