Rant/vent?

I miss when it seemed like they actually cared about Errant Kingdom.

For the first few months it seemed like the team was invested in the characters and story they were going to tell. After they announced Call Me Under though, everything,,, spiraled. It seemed like all the focus went on creating that game and Errant Kingdom was the least favorite child left to fend for itself.

Don’t get me wrong, I still love Errant Kingdom and the characters, I’ve hyper focused on them for months in total, and I still will, but I feel like it had so much potential to be great and since they didn’t put they’re heart into it, it’s going to end up being just eh. You know? A lot of the love for the characters has to be from what remains of the fandom after two-ish years.

It’s very upsetting to me because I’m not even that interested in Call Me Under. Even with all the promo they’ve done for it, saying it’s gonna be better than anything they’ve done before. (And I mean,,, it should be,,, you’re supposed to get better at things as you do them,,,) The character designs are nice, but I’m not interested in 1920-ish era things at all. The only thing that grabbed my attention is the doctor trans-man character and I’m not buying the game just for one character’s route. It’s just gonna be a skip from me.
