❝ secret date — kris & myungsoo
Today was the day; really, the only event he'd bothered to lock into his mental calendar. Yet, he still hadn't produced some excuse to take the trip down to Hogsmeade. Initially, he'd planned to purchase something random and claim he needed that for some unmentioned reason, but nothing came to mind. Hopefully, Kris just wouldn't ask. Sure, he could've casually suggested they hang out, just as friends, but he wasn't keen on being rejected. Also, he didn't really love the idea of being around Kris on school grounds. It wasn't because of the other; it was a typical "it's not you, it's me" situation. The last thing he wanted was rumors to be circulating. It had happened last time, and he'd diligently ignored it. However, he wasn't so sure he'd be able to pretend the whispers didn't reach his ears this time around. So, this arrangement was the most sensible.
Around eleven, he began the trek to the location, predicting that it would allow him to arrive on time. Among his few friends, he was notorious for being late, and he didn't want to give Kris that impression. It wasn't his fault he tended to oversleep. So, he'd practically forced his roommates to wake him before it was afternoon, seeing as he usually awoke after lunch on weekends. The weather was even chillier than the previous time he'd seen Kris, his breath visible with each exhale. Despite the dropping temperatures, he still found it manageable. Before he knew it, he reached the aforementioned corner, glancing around. From what he could tell, most people had chosen to hide away inside the various stores versus the freezing outdoors. Pouting to himself for no particular reason, he shifted on the sidewalk and waited.
