❝ secret date — kris & myungsoo
Kris hadn’t even thought about connecting the two until Myungsoo asked the question and the Gryffindor paused, his hands balanced with the goods. Now that it had triggered something he realised that Daehyun had mentioned the Ravenclaw, though it was relatively quick in passing. Furrowing his brows slightly he glanced over at Myungsoo, his eyes taking the other in. He was actually a little confused now; the way Daehyun had made it sound…well Kris himself had told him to beware. Yet today the boy had bought him a book, and offered to make a potion for Samson. Not to mention found Samson the week before.
"Yeah actually… he did. You and Jaejoong went into the same sentence," he admitted, immediately turning to focus back on the shelf. He didn’t want Myungsoo to think that he was overly affected by it - because he wasn’t all that much. Well, perhaps that was a lie. He certainly felt a bit more hesitant - trust never came easily for him. But at the same time, what Daehyun wanted to do behind closed doors was up to him, as long as the boy didn’t end up hurt. As long as Kris didn’t end up hurt.
When the Ravenclaw returned with the basket, he dropped the chocolates into it, followed by a couple of sugar quills. ”Good for study I find… they uh, keep me awake a bit more,” he mumured. He had just grabbed a packet of stretchy ears off the shelf when the question came, and he was so shocked by it he abruptly dropped the goods, quickly bending to pick them up.
"Um, no. I don’t, I uh. Well… um. I only… Ionlyhadmyfirstkisswiththatmistletoe," he stammered, blushing deep red and staring down at his feet. For some reason he then let out an awkward, high pitched chuckle. "It was Daehyun too. He um, he likes kissing people…doesn’t he?"
When he caught hints of realization on Kris' features, he felt a certain sinking feeling. Well, it could've been worse. From his experience, he could gather that Daehyun didn't think illy of him, so nothing horribly must've been said. When Jaejoong was mentioned, Myungsoo managed to hide his distaste. "I'm not really like Jaejoong..." he mumbled in response, wanting the other to know that. Even if he couldn't be positive what had been said, it wasn't always great to be affiliated with that particular Slytherin. He'd never even met the guy, but he already knew they were different from general rumors. Yeah, he shouldn't take those into account considering the ones about himself circulating, but he knew better than anyone that all gossip had some truth to it.
Though, from his observations, Kris didn't seem to care, and he was genuinely relieved by this. If it were anyone else, they probably would've flipped shit upon making the connection, now cautious of him trying anything. It had happen before, and costed him a lot. He understood by now that Kris wasn't very predictable in his reactions. "I'm not going to try anything with you, so don't worry," Myungsoo promised as an addition, not really sure if he was still being listened to. It was likely a promise he would regret, but he had to remind himself that he had changed, and it was for the better.
Since the sentence was basically blurted out, Myungsoo blinked as he deciphered what was said. Then, his mouth opened to speak, but nothing came out, obviously shocked. It's not that this was unusual, but Kris didn't seem like the type. He couldn't really claim he knew the Gryffindor well, though. Luckily, he was saved by further comments. "Does he now?" He wondered with a small smile, half feeling responsible. "He told me I was his first, but I haven't seen him much ever since."
