It was surprisingly a cold day as Naeun decided to head towards the library. The atmosphere of tranquility immediately greeting her. Her fingers already knowing which books to pick. This was a normal habit that Son Naeun had since she could remember.
A few hours had passed as the cold breath was no surprise around the place. Her head lifting seeing the individuals bundle their jacket to seek warm or the couples clinging to each other for the warmth. With a sigh, she continued to investigate a bit trying to ignore the couple of chills sending her way.
The cold didn’t lasted as she felt the warmth embracing her body as her dark hues glance to see the edge of blanket before seeing one of her roommates there with a wide grin. “It’s cold outside.” She simply said.
Naeun blinked for a few times before a chuckle escapes from her tinted lips. Her fingers reaching to the blanket before wrapping it to the other rather tenderly. A sweet smile placed on her features, “What are you saying Hyeri-ssi? You seemed close to catch a cold. Cover yourself and stay warm. It’s said that a chilly day it’s the most probable thing."
it was quite a surprise daehyun wasn't on the library, on a week day. hyeri understood--he was on the last year, and his family depended on him to bring everything they needed and he wanted to be big and do great in life, he rarely spoke, but she knew. so while many students from the seventh year fooled around, with his nose stuck in a book was the easiest way to find him. but apparently, not on the dusty library's.
the silver-haired girl frowns, maybe he has decided to spend his evening eating up his dada books seating on a comfortable chair and all cozy and warm in front of the fire. but of course, hyeri was left to freeze out on the cold old library--
--or so she thought, hands pulling on her pullover to bring more warmness to her, eyes focused on trying to find a damn book to entertain her when she sensed something burning. not literally - she'd have loved that more than anything - but as she turned around, she noticed the eyes of a familiar girl, leading her lips to let a smile crack in easier.
"it's cold outside." she heard her own voice coming out with a chuckle, breaking the silence between the gryffindors. naeun was quite close to her on the moment, but she didn't expect the nervous and shy girl that slept two beds away from her to drop a crimson blanket over her shoulders.
as the warmness ran from the other's body to hers, her eyes' surprised size diminished to their natural side, and soon turned into a pair of small crescents, showing how content their owner was. and to match them, a quiet smile that struggled to be maintained like this as the dark-haired female used korean words.
"aren't ye kind, naeun? no need to go all hangul on me, lass. hyeri or alison works just fine." the laugh slipped between her lips easier now, and then she pressed them together, feeling quite awkward to be standing with this formal girl. "i dannae think i'll be having a cold anytime soon as ye helped me on this rough day. but say, would you wanna sit in here, or get out and grab a cup of tea?"
