The excitement of actually having a sleepover made Miri happy â It had been awhile since she had a chance to just relax and talk about anything and almost everything with Momo. She had a few secrets she wanted to share with the other, as well as comfort her. She could tell, by random passing byâs in the corridors throughout the school she had something on her mind; Miri could just tell â Like a motherly instinct tugging at her entire being. It was normal for her to be found in the other houseâs common rooms at Hogwarts, sometimes even dorms. She frequented Gryffindor a lot though, mainly because of Momo but also because of Min.Â
Momo, though a year younger had become her best friend almost over night. They clicked, and of course Miri wasnât going to allow her to escape her grasp. She protected the girl, and was there all the time. Especially whenever they had their weekly sleepover. Oh how she loved those sleepovers â It gave her mind some sort of great escape, and simply put her at ease just as much as it put the other at ease. This Miri knew she would forever be grateful for. She trusted Momo with her life, her secrets, pretty much everything.Â
Laying horizontally across the bed, Miri had her face buried in blanket all bundled up and fashioned into her own pillow. Her gaze shifted to look over her friend, a small smile tugging at the corners of her lips as she sat up slowly and crawled over to Momo â Arm instinctively wrapping around her,  her head resting on the others shoulder. âWell, tell me whatâs been bothering you all day?â Miri raised a brow, warm eyes fixating on the youngers face; Her smile lingering. âYou know Iâm here for you, right?â She tilted her head to the side, arms tightening around her frame as she kept her close.Â
honestly, it was rare that her plans actually went through, turned into reality with effort. usually, sheâd plan on something, make arrangements with her friends but they never really bothered since they were busy. momo didnât complain, she understood that they had their individual activities to attend to like studying, visitations, or spending time with other things. she wouldnât get mad at that but an excuse to her was feeble. luckily, her friends told her of her plans. it seemed that she was around miri more than anyone else, finding herself around the hufflepuff almost on a daily basis.
so, theyâre comfortable around one another. momo recalled the time when she first met miri, the girl was so loving and open. it wasnât hard to get along with her at firsthand. she was so approachable, not so intimidating like slytherins were. that was that, momo had trouble making friends with slytherins but she still at attempted ( props to her effort at the very least, right? ). sadly for momo, she wasnât sure how to guard herself when it came to her well-being. she did keep a lot of secrets to herself, never opening the cork to the bottle. she easily trusted miri out of the few dozens of people she met. and yes, miri did know about momoâs background and how the lamoureux family was like behind closed doors. sins, nothing but sins.
as miri rested her head on her shoulder, momo patted miriâs fluffy hair. âyou know what would be bothering me all day..â she heaved a distressed sigh. this time, it wasnât a boy. okay, no boy was really on her mind. she had better things to do than to think of boys. boys are troublesome, girls were sweeter and a lot softer. âyou know the usualâŠâ she looked down sadly, eyes shifting at the covers. âi know youâre here and i really do appreciate it but iâm not sure what to do when my father keeps trying to come back into my life.â
âholy crap. i really do have a lot of daddy issues.â she shook her head in disappointment.
