Voice update re: my insomniaposting last night
It would appear I Am. A baritone. Except i can't get to the top of that range well because of the aforementioned cracky voice
#baritone voice! my beloved! also. i discovered that my sister is only able to do one note lower than me lmaoo#(we're both trans; she mtf me ftm(or nonbinary whatever)#but! i am excited! i thought my voice was higher than that lmao and didn't like that#baritone! voice! my! beloved!#i looked it up and according to [random website] hozier's range is C2 - C5#mine appears to be G sharp 2 to C 4 (ish)#but it is crunchy so the higher notes are difficult/sometimes i cant hit ones that high or i can go a little higher. interesting#godspeed to my vocal cords when i get back on t and hopefully increase it lmao#im hopeful that what would happen is the lower notes would get easier and that the higher notes would become less crunchy. i bet they could#baritone!!! i fully expected that I was a tenor (or god forbid even higher)#additionally! the absolute gender of discovering my voice is deeper than i thought! baritone! absolute gender moment#voiceposting#edit to this idk where that webbed site got its data on hozier bc i just saw a collection of clips with the notes identified#and uh. hozier's lowest note is also my lowest note#Gsharp2#what a weird thing to know. we have the same lowest note
