kind of wild that i've been taking voice lessons for about six months now (if we subtract all the time i was out due to #mycancer) and like sure no it hasn't actually tangibly changed anything for me in my life, i haven't done anything with it and still have never had the guts to sing in front of anyone but my voice teacher, but it still feels like a huge monumental accomplishment for me to have pushed myself so far out of my comfort zone and to have started something new and scary and also to continue to stick with it. and like? to maybe actually discover that i am kind of good at it? INCONCEIVABLE to me six months ago. and honestly this is also thanks to deathbecomesher 🥺🥺🥺 came home from seeing meg and jenn perform live on stage for the first time and was like well FUCK. i gotta Do Something or i'll fucking explode

Voice update re: my insomniaposting last night

It would appear I Am. A baritone. Except i can't get to the top of that range well because of the aforementioned cracky voice

this is literally the exact problem with the voice and why they SHOULDNT LET THE PUBLIC VOTE. first of all the general public doesnt know anything about singing second of all they will literally vote for any straight white boy just because he's handsome instead of obviously better singers the show is so much better when they just have the judges decide. it's literally like canadian politics
