Genshin Impact updated, but i couldn't play it yesterday.... hey mutuals. is Evil Russia now in the game
my personal opinion is that Rosaria should be in her 40s and greying
UE UE UE (SOUND OF CRYING)
ok, Genshin Impact has a lot of flaws, but i must say that the way how EACH CHARACTER has an unique personality is amazing.
i'm not talking about only the playable ones – each NPC you can talk to has an unique way of speaking, can give you gifts, hell, some even trigger QUESTS is so cool!! it really shows how open the world is, how many more or less wonderful people are in it, and each one has a story to tell – and they can turn out to be REAL tear jerkers. i still visit Childish Jiang sometimes and i can't stop thinking about a quest called „The Tree Who Stands Alone”
what about the playable characters? take Kaeya for example – he's EXTREMELY intelligent and calculative, if it's for the greater good, he'll do anything, but this means he keeps up a fake facade most of the time. not to mention his birth parents abandoned him, his adoptive father died, and his adoptive brother resents him. and what does Kaeya ask us for when it's our birthday? to keep him company. Kaeya's said brother, Diluc, is also a shut-in and aloof. but when you become best friends with him, he starts to smile during fights – because he finally trusts you enough to show true emotions.
the traveller themselves is also a sad character. their beloved sibling is missing, and they're trapped in a world they don't know much about. sure, they came to love it and people who live here and help out as much as they can. they're entangled in its problems, so much that we, the player, can forget about our true purpose – but it's often reminded to us at unexpected moments, and it feels like a punch in the gut, like true grief.
yeah, you could say i like this game
i know that Barbara is like the sweetest and most loving character in Genshin Impact, but what if she introduced herself as „Barb” to other people, so when others asked what it stands for, she was like. Barbed Wire :)
her other idle dialogue is also “error” im p sure ... here’s how my “the receptionists are fatui robot spies” theory can still win
it is! i waited long enough for her to say it so i could screenshot that
AND I LOVE THE CYBORG KATHERYNE THEORY SO MUCH!! considering the Fatui have. literal fucking guns and do. experiments on people. they could as well build robots... i mean, ruin guards are pretty advanced mechanisms and they were made in ANCIENT TIMES, so the Fatui could somehow find out how they work and move onto something more advanced! man. this is so much lore for a game with fan service in every corner
SHE SAID REBOOTING. THIS WAS INTENTIONAL THEY PUT THIS IN THE FUCKING GAME. WHAT THE FUCK DOES THIS MEAN WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU
