The fastest way to a man's heart was through his stomach, and despite all of the kinds of male advice Greenleigh's mother had given her through the years that had ended up being complete bullshit, the girl felt that this was a rare piece of excellent advice that most certainly applied to her boyfriend Taylor. The loving act of presenting a homecooked meal at his house seemed a good way to hopefully start a conversation about one of many things that had occupied her worried mind nonstop lately. She moved the food artfully around her plate with her fork, hoping he wouldn't notice that she hadn't really eaten anything at all. In addition, she nodded along dutifully to whatever he was saying, hoping he wouldn't notice that she wasn't really paying any attention either, too focused on her inner monologue. She took a deep breath when there'd been a natural lull in the one-sided conversation, finally truly speaking, "Um, I'd say we need to talk about something, but I know you hate talking about relationship stuff, and I don't want us to have a fight. I've changed my mind about something major though, so I need to know how you feel, and what's actually realistic so that I can adjust my expectations, and try not to be disappointed, and we can move on with the rest of our lives together, and that'll just be how things are.".
