Shaw would not be cancelled for his fashion sense because he is a total drag king. Nor would he be cancelled over violent tendencies, because he would absolutely punch a Nazi. His money-greed *would* be 'problematic,' but since he isn't racist, misogynist, or homo/transphobic it might be forgiven. Even the dislike of kids might be overlooked as it's accepted that not everyone needs to be a parent. It is his diet that will get him cancelled--by Vegans!

This ask made me laugh but also you're so right? People can truly be HORRIBLE and avoid criticism as long as they have the right politics, or purport to. Fuck, the only thing that actually got Shaw actually "cancelled" fandom-wise was being retconned as abusing a popular uber-wealthy white woman.
