Yet another soft little guard commander drabble, starring Fox and Thorn this time!! If you haven't caught on by now, I really love Thorn, and there's not a whole lot on our boys in red, so I decided to change that and write some of my own!

Again, not perfect, but I love these two so have some soft commander bros! Full version is here!!

his trip to the caff machine had only taken minutes, and the closer he got to it, the more energy he seemed to be drained of. finally moving must have finally used up his energy from his previous cups, so by the time he reached it, he was already near ready to crash. though it hadn't been as eventful, it'd still been a long shift. watching the caff brew, thorn leaned over the counter space next to the device, his weight resting down on his elbows. it wasn't exactly the most comfortable thing to do, by he was far beyond comfort already. there was no point in trying to care about how much the armor bit at his skin. it was something they always wore; they lived in it. it was just something they were used to by now. after several more minutes of waiting, this man must seriously have a deep reserve of patience, the strong, lifesaving brew finished, and with a newfound purpose, he poured two cups of it. there was more left over, he could probably get another, but thire would probably appreciate it more when he came around. ​ ​​​​he picked up both of the cups, not bothering to try and drink any yet. bucket was still on, and besides, he'd rather share a cup with his brother he knew was most certainly still up. he was almost always up at this hour. always something to do still.

Frost can be so beautiful. And Road was just a perfect match for this scenery, her Volume 27 Outfit is just so fitting for winter.

Plus I haven't had her out much since I repainted her. It was about time.

WiP - Road - White Dress

I know, I know. I have been pushing this back for like ... the time I own this doll. The shoes were intended for this outfit and I got them even before I got the doll. But Ch 258 pushed me over the edge as I like to give the dolls their current outfit and the dress was overdue.

To admit it: I kinda eyeballed everything. I worked on Road the week I finished Cross and I was kinda saturated in regards of precise sewing, I wanted some freedom.

So for the bloomers no pattern, but as you can see they still turned out.

Socks were also quite eyeballed but that was the easy part the dress would be a different challenge.

I started with the top piece which needed lining and the main bodice, the challenge here is ... the doll is flat and the cut is made to cup breasts. But there are none. I stuffed the piece a bit to have at least somewhat of a curve but I knew I had to adjust more during the process.

As I added the skirt I tried to make 'cups' with adjusting the front and the back before I added the ribbon that is around her shoulders and arms.

For the skirt I decided to add wire to it, the difference is immense as you can see. The dress is overall quite gravity defiying and to figure that out is always an adventure.

For the ribbon I was only able to get a light purple but I will keep my eyes open and will replace it with a darker one later on.

Adding last details. I somehow forgot the whole ribbon is also around Road's neck, and I finally added closure as I totally forgot it as I added the wire and thought I was about to be done.

Final step was adding the pompoms to the shoes.

But here she is. I will post the rest of the photos seperately as I worked a bit further on her ...

... and finally added closure hooks to her other canon outfit. I know I was in a bad mental state as I made it but I kinda forgot the fact I literally had sewn her into the outfit, therefore I had to open up some seams. To avoid this I finally added hooks to be able to redress her more easily.

To be honest it feels good to have revisted her to correct all this what I just didn't have any spoons left for back in the day.
