Posing beside an RG33 MRAP prior to a 2 day HVT capture mission... Staging took place on a FOB near the valley where the HVT was believed to be hiding. Confirmation of his whereabouts were to be conducted with electronics by a small direct support team. Capture would be conducted by a larger SOF team. This national park houses 2/3rds of the world's great one-horned rhinos... and is situated near the city & within the state that I mentioned in my last post. On the last day of the trip we got to ride elephants around the park. The elephants kept the human footprint down & allowed us to see the rhinos without scaring them. This is a World Heritage Site & all the animals are well cared for. The day started out very foggy & made the visit all the more surreal. (This is a pretty good hint. Op Gator had the opportunity a few years back to do some work w/a charitable organization in a place with less fortunate peoples than that of his home country. This was with a small private military company & the mission usually focused on tactical medical training. However, this trip was to analyze if the company could branch into other avenues of specific surgical training.
