I was so pained to know that guardianindarkness has gone on a permanent hiatus, as said on their blog. Though their blog is not going to be deactivated, it serves as 'a record of wonderfully enjoyable, richly written stories with great individuals'.
I'd never interacted with a Pitch/Pitchiner-blog before and I was excited when I was referred to this one in particular, as the mun really had an interesting take on the character. She was a true writer, expanding a character and giving him the depth one often overlooks when they set their eyes on a villain. I could go on about how much I admired this writer from afar, as I went through most, if not all, of her headcanons and backstories and explanations. Not to mention her amazing art, but that would take too long.
It was during my hiatus that Pitch-mun made a starter for me, even though way before that we were just in the early stages of plotting how Sammy was to reunite with Pitch according to our canon. But it never happened. I was too busy and I wanted to cover more ground before letting the two characters 'reunite'. The thread never came to be.
I never got the chance to interact with Pitch-mun, save a few pleasantries. What I regret is not the fact that our muses didn't get to meet, but the fact that I lost the chance to get to know another brilliant writer. But that's okay. I think I understand and somewhat relate a bit to what they were feeling, and their reasons behind the permanent hiatus.
I won't forget whatever I've learned from you and your writings, my dear. I am positive that you've done so much for this fandom and I hope you know that.
