Its so funny to me the names for clone shiro.

Because Shiro is japanese is white.

And some people call clone shiro kuro, which is black in japanese.

Some people call clone shiro kuron(i do this) because of the haggar experiment being called project kuron.

But also

It makes me giggle so bad.

Kuro, Shiro and Keith out on a night picnic, with Kuro and Keith lounging on the deep blue blanket watching content as Shiro sets up the telescope they brought. Keith gets up and offers to help but Shiro just waves him off, telling him to just relax and enjoy the night. So he does. He walks a little ways away from their designated spot and turns his gaze skyward. The stars are out in full tonight, and Keith takes full advantage of the simple stargazing he can manage without equipment. He's in the middle of mapping out the leo constellation, when all of a sudden a light flies across the darkness, then two, then two more before hundreds follow in their path. 'Its a meteor shower'. Keith looks away from the sky to excitedly shout to his boyfriends but when he sees them he's met with the site of them both kneeling, with tiny identical boxes in their hands.

Lights streak over them, painting his partners of 4 years in a blinding array of light. They have been the lights that lit up his path ever since the day he met them. Shiro and Kuro are his shining, beautiful stars, and they've whispered the same sentiment back to him tenfold. The irony of it all isn't lost on him as emotion wells up inside of Keith and the dam breaks. He bursts into tears that could rival the speed of the falling stars above. The two men kneeling in front him can barely ask "the question" before Keith is jumping on them both chanting "yes yes yes!" over and over. Cue Shiro crying as well because he's a big happy -now engaged- sap.

He comes to slowly, mind fuzzy and eyelids heavy. He's lying on his back on a hard surface, with a bright light shining on him from directly above.

Shiro's mind snaps into sharp clarity when he realises he is restrained by his wrists and ankles. Panic starts to creep up and his breaths come quicker and shallower. He tries to move and feels more straps across his chest and thighs. Trying to turn his head reveals another strap across his forehead, pinning him in place.

No. No. Not again. Not again!

i love kuron a lot so i like to think about AUs where keith knows he’s a clone before kuron does and grows to care for him in his own way, and they deal with kurons headaches and blackouts together. it makes black paladins 10 times more painful and im a glutton for that sweet heartache of keith feeling super ashamed that he misses kuron sometimes.
