It was getting harder and harder to focus on her actual work lately, her mind always drifting back to a certain someone that Cyd assumed was still passed out on the makeshift bed she made on her living room, several medical and even engineering books laying everywhere around the figure along with medical supplies.

And true enough, the moment Cyd walked inside her apartment, there he was still unconscious, something that earned a tired sigh from the paramedic.

Cyd dropped her bag by the door and tossed her keys on the counter before going walking over and checking on him, pleased to see that all the repairs made that morning before work were still holding together, along with all others.
