      The queen tapped the butt of her sword’s sheathe along the cold, stone floor of the resurrection chamber; the Sheikah informed her that her old friend, and former(?) bodyguard had finally recovered. Now, he just had to be woken. With a clang loud enough to wake redeads, she cleared her throat, her face scrunching,

       “Link of the royal guard, if you are not up and awake within the next five minutes, I’m going to whack you over the head with this,” she motions to her scabbard-covered sword, “hard enough to where Calamity Ganon will seem like a swim in Lake Hylia!”

“Papa is going to tell us a story,” White petals cover the ground, where they usually sit (under a cherry blossom tree right beside their house) though dirt and petals get stuck everywhere, it won’t stop them from the little time they have as a family. When their father is usually tasked with such an important duty, they are never awake to welcome him home. 

“Do you want to come and listen? He makes some funny and scary faces sometimes.”  Hopefulness sitting clearly on her grin, while a fist is tugging in sky blue fabrics.

The young Zora shifted a little as she watched over the domain. She should be studying more, Muzu had told her how important it was that she keep up on her studies, but she just needed a break, a moment to enjoy the sun and air. 

Head popped up she spotted the figures approaching across the bridge. Mipha quickly adjusted her jewelry before making her way down the stairs. Feet slowed as her golden eyes spotted the Hylian walking alongside the Zora. Hands were clasped in front of herself shyly, uncertain if she was ready to meet new people today. 

“ You brought a friend...? Pardon my rude entrance. ”

          The last thing he would remember, would be the blast from Twinrova. The fire was on his skin, and the trauma ended the bit of life he had left. The agony turned to warmth quickly, to the point that Sheik could barely remember if it happened at all. He could hear whispers from the three sisters, one of whom would take his hand and lead him to where he would awake.

          Heat would become icy cold, goosebumps coming up on his body. His head was against something hard, and the rest of him half submerged and floating in what he could assume was water. Sheik could not quite open his eyes, everything trying to keep him in this state of limbo. Where, or when was he did not matter - he was alive, by some miracle... But what was he to do now?

          When he was able to properly engage his body in to moving, he clenched his hand that once held the triforce and his eyes tried to open. There was snow, ice... Where was he supposed to be? Or rather, when. He would find out soon enough but for now he let his eyes close again. The world would still be there after a few moments of rest - he hoped that was.

‘ do you not recall me, o mighty hero? ‘ voice laced with contempt, words practically spat in the direction of the boy hero, chosen by the goddesses, knight of the bearer of wisdom, ganondorf’s eyes narrowed to slits. to be so easily forgotten was unusual, for his stories held true over the years, woven into the ever evolving history of hyrule. the lackluster reaction to his appearance was insult already to his sense of pride.

               they almost do not see him. so arrested are they by the                             green expanse of rolling plains, the rich flush of teeming                             blossoms, the cloying balms of dew-nectar and sweet                             dust-pollen; he is but a grey speck amidst the vibrant                             sea, a muted soul amidst blue-greens, purple-yellows,                             red-whites, and orange-browns. (they almost do not                             see him.)

               but his spirit is not one to be so easily dismissed. it burns                             with the fiery resolve of a newborn star, howls with all                             the might of two solar storms combined. it is bold and                             bright and blaring and—

               —they see him.

          Revali is all too pleased to watch as his arrow  SOARS  through the air, hitting its mark with a satisfying ‘ thud ‘ ( as if there was ever any doubt ). He’s aware of the new presence, though he opts for showing off his skills before  finally  directing his attention toward Link.       ❛   Impressive, right ? I  COULD  teach you a thing or two about archery ---- of course you’ll never be as skilled as I am, but a few tips to improve couldn’t hurt.    ❜
