omg ximena how long have u been dancing ballet and what made u start in the first place ???

i literally started in september of last year but have only been taking Proper Classes™ since last month!!!!!!!! around late june i started working out regularly bc we were quarantined and i'd find myself super super super bored for large periods of time so i just. started moving around!! then i started doing this...splits training challenge thing and it involved a looot of stretching and weird moves i'd never tried...and theeen i started getting video recs of adult ballet beginner classes on yt and i was like huh...ballet...intetesting...and back then i rly rly rly rly didnt see myself doing it "seriously"...

but it all seemed to fall into place!! i found myself reading more and more about it and watching clips of dancers and shows etc and i realized...ive always loved ballet lmao like my love for it had just been neatly tucked away in some deep dark corner of my mind and somehow quarantine boredom dug it out...i actually took like a couple years of ballet when i was like 5 LMAO but i hated it bc i thought it was "girly" and i wanted to do karate instead bc they offered it at my school but they wouldn't let me bc i was a girl so they made me take ballet and im p sure that stuck w/me for a loooong time.

and now here i am taking classes thrice a week w/a fantastic instructor that i found by cHANCE and that coincidentally started dancing as an adult too...i would've never imagined smth like this would bring me such an enormous...amount of joy but that's where im at rn and i think i'll keep going!!!!

7. if you had the chance to get a single, free tattoo of any size or intricacy right now, what would you want it to be of?

omgggg ok ive been wanting this tatt for forever but I just know it'll be expensive and time consuming 😭 I want a sort of large tattoo a little above my knee of a cluster of cempasúchil flowers with a monarch butterfly resting on top idk if I want the butterfly to be full wings spread open or a side profile or two smaller butterflies but yes and I want it realistic with a lot of detail and in color!! it's a lot of orange but I think with the right artist it'll be amazing!!

10. If you had to go on a long, grueling journey, would you want to go alone or not?

definitely not alone I already stress enough as is nsjsmsmsks Id probably demoralize myself I need companions

16. Are you the kind of person to fantasize about getting into fights?

uhhhh yea I do imagine myself sometimes of arguing with someone and shutting them down or lmao punching someone in the face 🙈

31. What do you do to calm yourself down when you’re feeling frightened?

I actually talk out loud to make some noise or go look for my dog or one of the cats to have someone else with me if I'm alone. sometimes if I hear a noise or something and don't know where it's coming from I'll like, talk out loud to 'whoever' made the noise to calm myself down and yea it includes jokes. or I ignore it and listen to music really loudly kskndnd
