Meet our longtime pal, @tinlunstudio aka Terence Tang who was a featured artist in Goodtype's very first book back in 2015! Terence, the founder of Tinlun Studio, is a Houston-based (and born-and-raised) multidisciplinary designer with over a decade of design experience. His passion lies in hand lettering, but he also loves story telling via graphic design, photography, and videography. In 2015, he started his own lifestyle brand with a mission of motivating people to be more proactive with their lives and go after what they want. Terence is also a husband, dad, huge basketball fan, and an avid sneakerhead. We are stoked to see some of the artists who inspire him! Once more, @timothygoodman here! Last but not least is my crazy-talented friend @heyheysu. Hyesu is an illustrator and muralist living and working in Brooklyn NY. Meet our Goodtype Guest Curator of the week @littlepatterns! Maggie Enterrios is a Packaging and Commercial Illustrator who creates intricate, layered compositions. She is best known for weaving complex botanical illustrations with negative-space and typographic design. After starting her career as an Art Director in the Tech industry, Maggie made the leap to full-time illustration just three years ago, building a client roster that includes Apple, Instagram, Procreate and Crayola. She has since published two illustrated journals with Timber Press and has designed book covers for Chronicle Books and MacMillan Publishers. In 2017, her artwork was featured on the TODAY Show, and she has led digital illustration workshops at multiple Apple Store locations. Meet our Goodtype guest curator of the week @tarwane! Matthieu, an independent lettering artist based in Lyon, France, is always motivated and optimistic when it comes to creating custom lettering. As a self-taught artist, he perfected the techniques he uses today on his own, and particularly enjoys working with various lettering styles, like interlock, block letters and monoline. At the moment, Matthieu works primarily with branding, magazines, and exhibitions. He also loves sharing his knowledge by teaching lettering workshops. Matthieu is also featured in our latest book, "Goodtype : The art of lettering." We are looking forward to seeing some of the artists who inspire him.
