A low-carb version of the classic creamed chipped beef, served on top of savory chaffles. For people on a ketogenic diet, this low-carb version is perfect because it has all the flavor without the guilt.
Ingredients: 4 slices of chaffle keto waffle made with cheese and egg. 2 tablespoons unsalted butter. 1/4 cup almond flour. 1 cup unsweetened almond milk. 1/2 cup beef chipped beef. 1/4 teaspoon black pepper. 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder. 1/4 teaspoon onion powder.
Instructions: Melt the butter in a pan over medium heat. When you add the almond flour to the pan, keep whisking it for about two minutes, or until it turns golden brown. While whisking, slowly add the almond milk, making sure there are no lumps. Put in the black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and chipped beef. For about 5 to 7 minutes, cook until it gets thick. In a toaster or skillet, toast the chaffle slices until they are golden brown. Creamed chipped beef should be served on top of chaffle slices.
