Spent the day in the historic castle town of Gujo Hachiman in Gifu Prefecture researching a project for a client. It was a very productive trip as I got to interview the head of the Gujo Odori Preservation Association and the President of the Watanabe Somemono Traditional Indigo Dye Shop. My schedule is almost set for my trip to Japan :) I wish I could spend more time in each place but just like every time I’m going to japan it feels like a lifetime would not be enough for me to make me feel weary of being there (*´ω｀*) I wish I could stay but during the past few month I couldn’t really work on it. I feel like the recent schism in my friendships was a sign that I shouldn’t give up because it freed up a lot of time for me to follow my endeavours. You cannot gain something without losing something of an equal value to you. It is one of my principles and why the recent events hurt me so much because I tried my best to provide for someone I considered to be a friend but what I got back felt more like a blow to the face. I hope I’ll never meet someone like this again. Anyway I’m dreaming of my trip now :) I can’t wait to meet my friends again and maybe to make some new ones :) I miss Onsen and Sentou so much and the food :3 @todayintokyo hint hint nudge :D
