Gulabo Sapera is a dancer from Rajasthan, India. She was born in the 1960s in a gypsy community. She would have been destined to continue living according to the precepts of community life of a low caste in this country if her passion for dancing and singing had not been so important. In 2016, Gulabo was bestowed with India’s fourth-highest civilian award, Padma Shri for her outstanding contribution in enhancing India’s folk dance culture. From running a dance school in Denmark to expand her legacy internationally, imparting free lessons to girls from rural areas of Rajasthan to soon opening a dance school in Ajmer, Gulabo is going all guns blazing to preserve her dance form. Gulabo Sapera was invited as a chief guest in Help India Online Foundation. She performed her outstanding folk dance. She told her about the life journey and how she fought with the difficulties in her life. She got very impressed with the notions of Help India online, how the foundation is working immensely to upbringing the society. As a woman, She is very happy to know that how Help India is helping daughters to get married. She thanked Dr. Pawan Pareek and Dr. Jadgish Pareek for inviting her. At last, she gave a sweet message to everyone that "Never forget your roots" and never give up.
