A lot of Korean folk tales about the kumhio in general involves them taking human form of a woman to usually marry up into a family and eat their husband on the wedding night-as well as the in-laws and any live stock.

Kumhio’s done this at least 53 times. It’s a good hustle. You marry into a very rich family, get comfy and just one by one eat the husband, livestock, in-laws, and any servants on the property. All about that WEDDING HUSTLE

My friend decided to torture me and ask for my top 5 dramas

& seeing as I just recently realized that I am currently watching my 49th drama (51st if we count the 2 I haven’t finished): it was pretty freaking hard!!!

Another Monster Musician: Golden Apple.

She's a Korean Pop Star well known for her lolita-like fashion and her signature BrushBrella (which she uses to paint living art during her concerts.) She's a complete 360 when it comes to personal interviews; despite her cutesy apperance and light hearted songs, she has a very cut throat punk rock attitude. She's done numerous charity concerts to help put a stop to illegal sex trafficking and child brides.

Golden is a Gumhio (or Kumhio, it varies on spelling); which is the Korean Equivilent of a Kitsune. While Kitsunes are usually nicer light hearted asshole tricksters-Gumhios are the ones who disguise themselves as beautiful women and then eat their husband's and step children's livers in the dead of night. (she makes no claims that she's ever eaten anyone, but who knows.) Gumhios are adept shapeshifters, well known for their speed and immense strength and appitites. They also carry around inside their stomachs a rounded bead of immense power and it's considered bad luck if you touch it without their permission.
