Police eventually arrived and took the student into custody. #quickthinking #portland #oregon #school #coach For all of the folks in the original post saying he SHOULDN’T go to jail (supposedly because he was “only planning to kill himself”); this kid commited the CRIMINAL act of bringing a gun on to a school campus (it is a serious crime). He went further to bring it into the building causing panic and terror (which is a CRIME...a few actually). There are other kids who have been charged for having TOY GUNS brought to school (hell, Tamir Rice was murdered for playing with a toy gun ALONE on a playground BY HIMSELF). Recently a kid was suspended from school for making the finger gun sign in a class and the local jurisdiction is actually considering criminal charges ...for a HAND SIGN...but this kid shouldn’t be charged??? Seriously??? Hell no!! Charge AND prosecute him. He was well aware he was committing criminal acts by bringing the gun to school. Any psychological help he needs, he can get from jail. El Paso shooting: Prosecutors to seek death penalty for "domestic terrorism"

Police say most of the victims were shot at a Walmart in shopping complex; white male suspect identified as Patrick Crusius taken into custody "without incident"

Prosecutors will justifiably seek the death penalty for the vile animal who massacred 20 Americans, most likely for racial reasons. This must be a mandatory punishment for anyone who murders innocent civilians, regardless of the “reason”. In addition, Congress and the police should go into zero-tolerance mode for all gun crime: gang shootings, domestic terrorism, and international terrorism. Investigate public concerns earlier (or face punishment otherwise), street patrols, monitoring sales, registration, and punishment for heavy drug users (who make up many mass shooters).

More updates on the outrage in Dayton, Ohio yesterday. Congress and the police should adopt a zero-tolerance approach to gun crime of all kinds. What we know about the shooting in El Paso, Texas

At least 20 were killed and 26 people were injured in a shooting Saturday in El Paso, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott said.

Another appalling massacre in America, this time in El Paso, Texas. This happened less than 24 hours before the other mass shooting in Dayton, Ohio. Apparently, this shooter may have posted a white supremacist manifesto online before the shooting-- police are investigating this. Motive or none, this is a complete outrage. 20 people have been murdered, 26 injured.
