No demigods AU where Magnus and Samirah and his hall mates go to normal high school
After his mom’s death Magnus is adopted by Randolph. He still works at Harvard and Magnus has to go to therapy there and meets Blitzen and Hearthstone who are college kids who are doing an teen outreach thing for one of their courses idk what yet (then they actually become friends lol)
Magnus the #TroubledTeenager doesn’t get along with his uncle and is all around a problem child, people are especially standoffish with him because of his mom’s death and rumors that he killed her or whatever (he didn’t dw). Ditches school a lot to go sit in a tree or whatever instead because school gives him panic attacks
Samirah and Gunilla and Halfborn are seniors. Gunila is the student council president and a hardass. She and Samirah are on the soccer team and don’t get alo very well. Eventually Gunila gets a serious injury (like ACL tear or smthn) and can never play again 😢
Floor 19 is basically the breakfast club in that they all wind up in detention one day and become super close afterwards, Magnus is sort of indoctrinated into their little group lol.
Alex aka Problem Child 2 is a transfer student due to bullying at her old school. She lives with Samirah’s family due to her father kicking her out (probably not exactly legal but Alex hates him anyways so she’s not complaining). She actually becomes a bit popular in that she’s in the art club and honors society and helps the theater kids with prop work.
Alex and Magnus are unlikely friends because everyone thinks Magnus is like evil and mysterious but Alex enjoys the challenge of cracking him lol. Samirah also mentions some stuff because they’re kinda friends. They get up to shenanigans together sometimes. :)
Uhmm idk I probably have more thoughts about it lol. Perhaps they go on an ill-advised road trip to get Sumarbrander or whatever idk. Maybe Jack is just his emotional support dog lol.
