Watched Battle Angel: Alita at the weekend 😊 The film is a wonderful and faithful adaption of the OVA/Manga which I'd recommend people to watch! The writing for the OVA is a bit clunky in itself (which kinda carries over into the film as a result) but it's decent enough for a series made in the 90's. The infamous big eye effect becomes less of a distraction once the film starts 😅 as there's lots of steampunk/cyborg world building throughout the film which helps to bring the characters and many villains to life 😁 The world building, the effects, the characters all made the film feel so good and I'd totally recommend anyone looking for something to do to watch!
