but life never works in the way one plans.    his giggling little girl was a    monster,    who slaughtered their pastor with a sharpened canine smile    &    devoured their mother in cold blood.    years of mapping    &    tracking an elusive smoke,    a wisp of a woman,     brought him     here     ————    alongside a drifting pair of hunter brothers avoiding their apocalyptic obligations.
