About Amano/Hitomi, I don’t think Alamo even knew...
I thought about the relationship being portrayed as in “the starting point” when we meet the characters and Amano may be interested in Hitomi a bit. But then it falls apart at VH or DM relationships, because their starting points are “weirding out/annoying each other” and “being betrothed but haven’t seen each other in years”. Just... I think it’s better not trying to making sense of it. It could have been easily a mistake by the writer of that article, too...
Amano and Yukari are definitely aware of each other at least on a friendly level, they are actually talking casually in the deleted scene in episode 1. Hitomi does not seem to feel as confident/comfortable around him. But it’s highly possible she and Amano would have got together somehow if she never went to Gaea. Her disappearance brought him and Yukari together instead.

Do y’all remember about the tidbit of Eries not being next in succesion...
Really, the last thing I wanna do is to ruin your day... but what I can read from the text underneath Eries is that she also has (some kind of) feelings towards Allen.
I would translate it whole but I would need a bigger picture and the biggest I could get to on this damn website was the 1280 pixel wide, which is unfortunately not enough. If anyone can open it in bigger size, please let me know.
What I would guess so far is something in the sense of “she tries to keep Millerna away from Allen but has feelings for him herself.”
