Fairy Tail. Grand Magic Games. We know the dragonslayers flub the chariot event. BUT. if we were to put them in a different event, which would be the most interesting objectively? Propaganda below.
Which GMG event would be the funniest/most interesting for Natsu/Gajeel/Sting?
Hidden
Pandemonium
Naval Battle

Propaganda (add if you think things would play out differently!)
Hidden: This event is about not hitting the city full of body doubles. Every time you get hit, you teleport to somewhere else. These guys would ignore the rules completely and start brawling on the rooftops, but stupidly, where the points move so fast no one is sure what the hell is going on. Other people start putting the duplicates on the roofs so that the dragonslayers attack those immediately upon respawning. Sting goes, even though Rouge was literally made for this game.
Pandemonium: Natsu might be gutsy enough to pull the Erza move if he thought about it, but the smarter move if you are not Erza Scarlett but still an overpowered beast is to fight 51 monsters, securing your win and letting the others scramble for last place. Gajeel claims all the monsters remaining, depending on when his order number comes up. If it's number 2, then he gets 49 monsters. Sting is left with the Magic Power Finder and loses to Jura. Note, because the order of challengers is random, this can be whatever is the most interesting order, so long as Fairy Tail takes the first and second slots.
Naval Battle: Shut up about bikini babes, it's underwater dragon time! Natsu is shown practicing his fire magic under water, he isn't out of this yet, though it is a challenge. Gajeel sinks like a stone if he dons dragon scales. Sting's light magic is unweildy underwater, but they can absolutely just go for an all out brawl. None of them will be concerned with pushing the others out of the water, it's all about beatdown. (The women might decide to team up and push the three of them out together, tired of their BS and the way they are dominating the attention in the center of the thing).
