Thinking about my boy Gurgel and tearing up at work. He just wanted to make a brazilian born car. He wanted urban cars to be a thing here 40 years ago. We only now are getting subcompacts and shit.

The man fought for national independence in a way we could only began to understand 30 years after he went bankrupt. Im getting sick to my stomach just thinking about the amount of lobbying VW and GM and Fiat used against our only production car brand. Literal giants stomping a newborn until it stoped trying to crawl.

Imagine spending 30 years trying to make the first car 100% designed and produced in your country and when you finally make it, the president caves in to multinationals pressure and cuts your funding. Direct linked to our current de-industrialization btw. Wish we could beat up Collor to death every year.

Now we only have overpriced cars from revolting big conglomerates. Fuck you Stelantis; fuck you VW and specially Fuck You Ford
