a meme made for manger.
there's a post on r/suzerain with cabinet members bios from old game files (confirmed by Torpor as outdated which means I will be treating that as holy gospel)
and these are the skills of Gus Manger
money laundering
I'm cackling he is such a rat
they seem like really good friends
Gus Manger and Ewald Alphonso are lovers and you can't convince me otherwise
as that one guy said, winning is easy, governing's harder 🏛️
drawing the suzerain gang because i love this game so so much. anton, babe, you have such a good team working with you, there's no way anything can go wrong now (famous last words).
don't worry, citizens of sordland! the country is in good hands! [SOUNDS OF SILLY CARTOON VIOLENCE]...kinda.
currently obsessed with suzerain, so of course i had to draw lucian, petr, and the ministers! thank you, team, for always giving me your best advice for running the country. sorry for always ignoring it.
Of all the amazing characters from Sordland that could make cameo appearances in Rizia, why did they decide to go all in on Gus Manger being an asshole? I understand that it makes sense to have him there from a story perspective, since he was part of the Alphonso administration and obviously very...close to Ewald. But why does he have to spout misogynistic bullshit toward Elena?
How DARE you!
LUCITA. LAURENTO, HUGO. WE ARE GOING TO WAR WITH SORDLAND. RIGHT NOW. MAKE IT HAPPEN. Vina, call your auntie, she's going to be thrilled.
I actually went along with the whiskey trade deal and the stupid tourism deal because Elena seemed to think it was a good idea, and the least I could do was trust her expertise. And then Romus *finally* calls out Gus for the way he keeps ordering Pabel around:
So is the point of all this that Gus is a representation of the boorish nouveau riche Sordish oligarchy? I already hated him, but thanks.
