hey, just as someone who’s also suffered at the hands of this bastard; my heart goes out to y’all. i really hope you’re all okay and i’m so sorry you were manipulated by him, none of you deserved that. he’s beyond awful. i’m always here if any of you need to talk. <3

Oh my god, no, don’t apologize! I know the majority of us just feels hella betrayed and guilty we ever trusted him, to the point where we went as far as to defend his alter ego, “Richie”, at some point. I can only hope those who have known all along he was lying could forgive the fact we made such a folly. Looking back, it’s just so embarrassing to realize we genuinely believed he was a friend.

Of course, you must have had it way worse than us, alongside others out there, so it’s in our best interest to expose this shit-stain for what he is - a problematic catfishing abuser. Above all else, though, I do hope you didn’t mind me including your testimony! I personally added it in myself while we all took turns editing the callout post, because I just wanted to drive in the fact that Ollie shouldn’t be pardoned, regardless of whether or not he’s a minor. Plus, not gonna lie, I was absolutely LIVID he had the audacity to plan your rape and thought it an acceptable thing to outright admit.

Either way, it’s sweet souls like you that make us all the more determined to prevent everyone else from being hurt by him! As I’m aware it must have been no easy feat, I’d like to thank you for having the courage to speak up about this. Just know that when it comes to Ollie, we have your back always!

A  H A N D  is splayed out in the folds of the toga, which is scratchier than the clothing he had grown accustomed to. Not because he was used to luxury- no, but because this is older. Much older. Everything is- but at the same time, technically, it’s younger than he’s ever seen it. He’s had more than his fair slice of history, taken up more time and space than he should ever have been allowed, and yet, this is the fate of the Source? For him to do it all again, but from a time even sooner? It’s a cruel realization, but inescapable. He doesn’t know where the Source is in this time, or even if it’s here yet at all. He’s never known what made it or who kept it. All of this would be useful information now, but it’s much too late.

Air rushes into his lungs at the suggestion that has been laid out before him, a blink of unmistakable surprise on his face. The past is the least of his worries when he’s become so caught up in it- so involved. He hadn’t meant to, really and truly had not- by now nearly numbed to the realization that everyone but he would go, by now used to watching everyone come and leave in waves over the millennia. Surely, here in the time before him, he could manage to stay free of these connections.

Or so he had thought. Of course, he’s incorrect about that. He always is. His resolve when it comes to underinvolvment is slim at best, and after a thousand years of transgressions, there is no situation that will lead him to sacrifice a mortal being for his personal desires. It’s his penance, his sentence, and he’ll do it willingly. And for Elagabalus, perhaps too willingly.

And that is why he’s in this situation.

                   he    knew    something    was    wrong    the    moment    the    two    guards    approach    him    in    the    forum .    it    was    nundinae ,    market    day ,    and    he    had    snuck    out    of    the    palace    early    in    the    morning .    his    fingers    are    tightly    clutching    a    bouquet    ;    it’s    an    almost    apology    for    the    fight    they    had    last    night .    blood    had    stained    her    teeth ,    a    bruise    started    to    welt    on    her    cheek ,    and    she    had    so    pleased    by    it .    she    had    almost    begged    for    it ,    the    pain ,    and    he    was    happy    to    oblige    in    the    moment ,    but    as    always ,    guilt    flooded    him    in    the    morning .    he    had    picked    out    roses ,    knowing    that    she    had    preferred    them ,    and    was    about    to    try    and    find    her    a    gown    when    the    men    came    into    his    vision .

                   the    throne    room ,    once    a    place    of    comfort ,    makes    the    pit    in    his    stomach    grow    tenfold .    elagabalus    sits    there    in    all    her    glory ,   and    she    looks . .    no ,    she’s    still    crying .    all    hierocles    wants    to    do    is    rush    over ,    take    her    in    his    arms ,    and    speak    words    of    love    into    her    ears .    he    doesn’t    get    the    chance    to .    the    guards    shove    on    his    shoulders ,    and    hierocles    falls    to    his    ground ,    his    knees    hitting    the    floor    with    an    almost    sickening    noise ,    and    it’s   not    graceful .    at    first ,    he    doesn’t    look    at    her ,    he    doesn’t    want    her    to    see    the    fear    in    his    face .    but    then    one    of    the    guards    is    roughly    grabbing    his    chin ,    forcing    his    head    up ,   and    his    gaze    is    right    at    her .    the    other    guard    who    isn’t    holding    his    face    finally    speaks ,    directed    towards    the    empress .
