Legit thinks he doesn’t deserve you. He just thinks that someone like him who has killed countless times and knows almost nothing but battle and death doesn’t belong with someone as innocent and wholesome as you. He tried to be as separated as possible from you, not because he doesn’t love you, but because he doesn’t want to ruin your purity. Eventually he kinda became fond of you and found comfort in being in your presence. Being your company, he felt a little relief, The sound of your soothing voice and your beautiful eyes, Those eyes that looked at him with such content and understanding. There is nothing he enjoys more then laying his head on your lap calmly as you softly play with his hair and to feel as if his grief and sadness drifts away, and instead feels peace, a feeling that he hasn’t felt in a while.
