Stuff you see in NYC - stood and watched this guy dry heaving for about 5-10min while the rest of the crowd just passed him by. Oblivious or apathetic, who knows.
Stuff you see in NYC.
Nothing pisses me off more than an eBay seller who deliberately misrepresents the condition of items they’re selling. Canon FD 55mm f/1.2 described as “good condition” with “minor nicks on barrel”. Problem is those “nicks” are a dent in the focusing ring which prevents the focusing ring from turning all the way, effectively making the lens useless. Packaging was excellent, so there’s no way they can claim it was damaged in shipping.
An unexpected bonus on my NYC trip this weekend.
I’ve carried the first one in my wallet since 2004 as a reminder, and it seems to be working (even though I continue to do dumb shit). So let’s hope the new one works, too.
A lot of photographers think that if they buy a better camera they’ll be able to take better photographs. A better camera won’t do a thing for you if you don’t have anything in your head or in your heart.

This is what the standard is for the utility boxes all over Las Vegas, Henderson, and Clark County in general. They seem to be either a shade of diarrea-brown or nausea inducing grey, and 99.99999% of the time they're going to be adorned with some sort of crap graffiti or gang tags.
Contrast & compare this with my previous photos of the art work that I have found on numerous utility boxes along Boulder Highway, Desert Inn, Tropicana, and Eastern.
I would like to see Clark County and/or the city of Las Vegas spend a little $$$ on community art projects which encourage creativity and brighten up the neighborhoods. Give the street artists blank canvasses to work on and maybe there won't be so much crappy graffiti all over the place.
