"He is an extraordinarily, complex, interesting, funny, confusing. Annoying... He's very unpredictable so theres always constantly interesting - never boring... I'm proud of the [songwriting] catalogue and yeah. We were definitely soulmates for a while"
- Guy Chambers about Robbie Williams (on Rewind Podcast, 2024 )
I just had to share this scene from "Better Man" because it is frickin' hilarious.
Unfortunately I'm not skilled enough to grab video clips from the movie (especially since it is currently in "buy or rent" city), so have this little recreation instead.
(fun fact: this rap is named "Spitting Bars" and yes, Robbie did write all that.)
The Night Before Christmas in Wonderland Trailer
It's Christmas Eve and Santa has found a delayed letter from Wonderland's Princess of Hearts. Santa and his team set off to Wonderland where they are met by the Queen of Hearts, who hates Christmas. Can Santa, Alice, the Mad Hatter and the March Hare teach the Queen the meaning of Christmas and save the day?
The Night Before Christmas in Wonderland, based on the book by Carys Bexington, stars the voice talents of Gerard Butler, Emilia Clarke, and Simone Ashley. Peter Baynton directs from a screenplay by Sara Daddy. Music and songs are by Guy Chambers and Amy Wadge.
The Night Before Christmas in Wonderland premieres on November 15, 2024, on Hulu.
Liam Payne’s death is the latest casualty of an industry that treats underage stars as commodities
Sophie Hunter singing IN FRENCH in this music video “Chère Isis” (Dear Isis) written by Guy Chambers and part of the “Isis Project”. Grammar alarm : the person who’s posted the video wrote “cher” which is male and Isis is female. Correct word is “chère”. Sophie has got a soft voice very Charlotte Gainsbourg like, which is not my cup of tea (don’t like singers who scream either). The french accent is correct though I don’t get all the words, which happens all the time with non-french singers. The song is quite sad and won’t cheer you up if you feel down tonight. And I’m posting these gifs just to make the skeptic shut up.
