A few of Far Cry 5’s characters’ former names (according to the files)
Did you know that some characters used to have different names? Here’s what I found:
Adelaide Drubman - Penny Johnson (I’m not sure; it’s unclear)
Casey Fixman - Casey Seagal or Casey Storm
Chad Wolanski - Chad Gardetto
Faith Seed - Selena Seed
George Wilson - George Beel
Guy Marvel - Guy Martel (headcanon: it’s still his name but he thought Marvel was a cooler name for a movie director)
Hurk Drubman Senior - Wayne Senior
Joseph Seed - Daniel Seed
Merle Briggs - Merle Clinton
Wilhelmina Mable - Wilhelmina Maybelline
Tammy Barnes - Tammy Palmer (was she supposed to be Eli’s wife? Maybe!)
Tracey Lader - Traci West
Virgil Minkler - Virgil Knutsen
Wendell Redler - Wendell Darrah
Xander Flynn - Bob Johnson (again, like for Adelaide, not sure)
Also, I’ve said this before but Deputy Pratt’s first name is actually Stacy and not Staci. In the files, it’s only not spelled Stacy once, in the end credits... which is also, unfortunately, the only time players had a chance to see it written.
According to the files, Larry Parker’s first name is Laurence, the man we meet near Arcade machines is Morris Aubrey, and the fisherman is Coyote Nelson… but his description in the unreleased in-game encyclopedia also implies he died, so that might be inaccurate.

Guy Marvel if you forgot was part of the side quests "Quiet on Set" and "Blood Dragon 3"
He's an eccentric director who has no regard for his film crew (who are killed by peggies in his 2nd mission) and their safety.
He asks you to make things quiet (heavily implying that he doesn't really care if you kill them) and later asks you to lure angels on set and kill them so they can be the zombies for his movie
On to a guy who's voice doesn't startle me when I hear it
Wheaty is one of the Whitetails and is seen consistently throughout the storyline, he finds you after the first time you go through Jacob's chair, and asks you to find records at some point so he can play more songs over the Resistance radio
No humans were harmed in the making of this film. What you see are exceptional special effects employing body doubles we code-named "angels." They are 100% excluded from any human rights commission coverage.
This film is in full compliance with board regulations etc etc. (Get lawyer to jazz up lingo.)

Headcanon where the guns for hire (Hudson, Pratt, and Jerome) tries to calm down Rook after he/she finds out that Guy Marvel's film crew didn't leave him but he sold them out to Eden's Gate to become his extras as Angels so that means Rook has been killing innocent people so in response, Rook shoots Guy in the leg and tries to set the whole set on fire as payback.
Sharky
~ He quickly grabs their arms and pulls them away
~ He glares at Guy Marvel and loosens his grip just enough to let Rook lunge at them
~ He pulls them away and holds Rook tight, telling them that he ain’t worth it
Hurk
~ He snags their waist and holds them to him as they struggle
~ He doesn’t mind so much if they kill Marvel but he doesn’t want them setting the whole place on fire
~ He pulls them away and lets them beat on his arms and chest
Nick
~ He scrambles to tackle Rook down and pins their hands down before they can hit him
~ He keeps them pinned long enough for them to calm down
~ He makes a deal with them to not set the place whole on fire but they can still beat the shit out of Marvel later
Pratt
~ He let’s them have at it
~ He’s just so angry at everything the cult’s done to himself and Rook
~ He’s got enough sense to make sure no more innocents are at the set before they set it on fire first
Jerome
~ He grabs them and holds them tightly
~ He recites a few calming lines and tells them they don’t want that on their conscious
~ He guides them away and comforts them, convincing them that Marvel will regret his choices
Jess
~ She stares in shock at the revelation and goes quiet
~ She watches as Rook beats the shit out of Marvel, but stops them from setting the whole set on fire
~ She pulls them away, telling them that they don’t want that on their conscious
Grace
~ She quickly tackles Rook and holds them down
~ She keeps them down and tells them they shouldn’t go that route or it’ll just lead to more death
~ She manages to calm them down and convinces them to only kick Marvel’s ass
Adelaide
~ She hugs them tightly and holds them, repeatedly telling them to calm down
~ She holds them to her and rubs their back
~ She calms them down and guides them away, promising to get proper revenge later on
Hudson
~ She’s pissed as hell, but she convinces Rook to just take it out on Marvel and not burn the set instead
~ She turns an eye as Rook beats the shit out of Marvel, not wanting to see it for herself
~ She manages to calm Rook down after Marvel’s beaten into a pulp and cleans off their hands
