like timeline wise in the show i’d say guy and vinessa would only have like at most six months before guy gets promoted to honor guard pretty guaranteed to not see earth again and like they both know that’s what guy is trying to do and vinessa is also working to get promoted. so they know that the other is taking a backseat to their careers. but they have some fun hanging out together in the meantime. guy ends up moving into her place after like a month cause he’s lonely, friendless, and poor

guy does some of the cleaning up that vinessa neglects cause he can do a couple things at once with the ring. and he’ll make dinner for her cause she mostly buys takeout, gatorade, and pickles. vinessa loves when he does this even if it doesn’t always turn out well because its been a long time since someone cooked for her
