fingers lightly tapped on the desk as she stared absentmindedly at her laptop screen, looking at words that had gone from having a meaning to just being a blur.  it was about the third site she’d stumbled upon, doing her own little research on witches - for her own reasons, of course - but finding little to nothing of importance.  nothing new.  it was all the same - covens and sacrifices when the practices got dark.  “i need a break before my head turns to mush,” she thought out loud, closing the laptop as she rubbed her eyes.

BIO : both  of  her  parents  were  hunters,   having  found  each  other  along  the  way   &   became  a  relatively  well  known   &   successful  hunting  duo.   after  Ravenna,  their  third   &   final  child,   was  born,   the  Astrapes  decided  to  stop  moving  around   &   settled  in  New  York  City  to  lead  a  relatively  “ normal ”  life  —  hunting  on  the  side  when  it  came  too  close  to  home   &   providing  a  safe  place  to  stay  for  passing  friends  in  the  trade.   the  kids  were  well  aware  of  the  world  outside   &   their  parents  made  sure  they  knew  how  to  protect  themselves,   training   &   educating  the  kids  since  they  took  their  first  steps  —  even  taking  them  on  hunts  after  they  had  turned  10.

at  the  age  of 16,   her  mother  got  possessed  by  a  demon  while  on  a  hunt   &   killed  James  before  Ravenna  was  able  to  recite  the  words  to  exercise  it.   when  Ravenna  was  finally  able  to  utter  out  the  Latin  incantation,   the  demon  had  stopped  Adriana’s  heart   &   the  16  year  old  girl  watched  as  her  mother  fell  to  the  ground  lifelessly.   the  grief  began  to  swallow  her  whole,   Jace  attempted  to  help  her  as  much  as  possible  but  it  felt  like  she  was  drowning  in  the  emotions  from  everyone  in  the  world.   Silas came  home  from  university  to  take  care  of  his  siblings,   enrolling  in  the  local  university  to  finish  up  his  schooling   &   let  Ravenna  graduate  from  high  school  with  her  friends.   from  18  to  21  the  3  siblings  traveled  around  the  world,   hunting  down  creatures   &   saving  people.   when  word  spread  of  a  school  for  hunters,   Silas  was  quick  to  enroll  Ravenna,   hoping  she  would  hone  her  skills   &   more  importantly,   make  connections  with  others.

BIO:      Very few people actually know how Professor MacLeod secured the job. Even fewer people are happy about it. And precisely no one is sure how she has managed to keep the position for as long as she has. Her teaching methods are notoriously unorthodox and dangerous, and her bedside manner is sufficient to cure even the most greivous of wounds just so her patients don’t have to see her. But the professor gets results. No injury is too serious for her to cure, and every student has at some point thanked her for the knowledge she gave them.      Rowena MacLeod is not the teacher you want; but she’s the one who’ll save your life.

Crowley ꜰᴄ: David Tennant ᴍᴜsᴇ ᴀɢᴇ: Appears 48 ( actually older than creation ) ᴘʀᴏꜰᴇssɪᴏɴ: Professor of Demonology ʙʀɪᴇꜰ ɪɴꜰᴏ: Like many Crowley found his way to ‘Hell’s Gate’ at a low point in his life, propelled by the neverending guilt of what he is and what he’s done. Crowley is a Demon, one of the Fallen. Tossed out of Heaven for asking too many questions, he didn’t mean to fall, and he doesn’t hate humanity in the least, in fact, he’s rather fond of humans having lived among them as Hell’s Agent on Earth since Eden. ( Crowley is the Serpent of Eden, the snake to tempt Eve ) Since his participation in an Apocalypse-stopping event, he has been separate from Hell, no longer following their orders or working toward their plans. Learning about the school for hunters, many of whose lives were forever changed by demons and the like, Crowley has decided to teach what he can to give these hunters the advantage -- only, the students and fellow professors are unaware of his demonic nature. ʀᴇʟᴀᴛɪᴏɴs: Fi Chattox ( @learnedlucidity​ ) - a young witch he’s been watching over since she summoned him one night for help. He was the one to bring her to Hell’s Gate.
