The darkness of the hidden room was a physical weight. You had lost track of time. You had heard the muffled sounds of Lucifer’s arrival, his chilling, melodic laughter echoing through the vents, the sounds of Gabriel’s defiant snark, and, eventually, the humming roar of the rift finally opening. And then, silence. A silence that lasted for days. The proximity to Gabriel over the last week had awakened something in you that hadn't been touched in seven years. Your body, sensing its Alpha was nearby and then suddenly gone, went into a state of biological emergency. Your Heat didn't just arrive; it broke like a fever. "Gabe..." you whimpered, your skin slick with sweat. The bunker was empty. You knew the Winchesters, Castiel, and Gabriel had crossed over to the Apocalypse World. You were alone in a concrete box while your hormones screamed for a mate who might already be dead. You crawled to the corner of the room, dragging the blankets and the flannel shirts Gabriel had left for you. With trembling hands, you built a nest, a frantic, desperate circle of fabric that smelled faintly of him. You curled into it, your core aching with a localized, throbbing heat that made you cry out. You found the bag of supplies Gabriel had stashed. Inside were a few medical supplies and a couple of silicone toys he’d conjured as a joke. You tried to use them, desperate for any relief, but your body rejected them. The plastic felt cold and wrong. In a True Mate bond, the Omega’s body becomes tuned to a single frequency, the Alpha’s grace. "Please," you sobbed, clutching one of Gabriel's shirts to your chest. "Don't leave me here. Don't let me die like this." The fever was reaching dangerous levels. You were drifting in and out of consciousness, convinced that the "gentleman" Loki had been right, that Gabriel was a coward who had fled to another world to save himself, leaving you to burn up in a hole in the ground.
Then, the air in the room suddenly crackled. The smell of vanilla and honey filled the small space. You heard a heavy thud, followed by the sound of the warding being torn apart like wet paper. "Y/N!" Gabriel stood in the doorway. He looked like he’d been through a war. His clothes were shredded, his face was smeared with dirt and gold blood, and his wings, invisible but heavy, cast jagged shadows against the wall. But the moment he smelled the room, his eyes went solid, glowing gold. "Alpha," you gasped. He was across the room in a heartbeat, falling into the nest with you. "I'm here. Cupcake, I'm here. We got them. We got the humans, we got Mary... I'm safe. You're safe." He didn't wait. He couldn't. The scent of your Heat combined with his own lingering Rut was a chemical explosion. He stripped off his tactical vest and his shirt, his hot skin pressing against yours. "I need you," you begged, your legs tangling with his. "I've got you," Gabriel growled, his voice dropping into that primal, Archangel register that made your soul vibrate. There was no time to be gentle and explore. He entered you and you both groaned at the connection. It felt a like a physical shock, so intense. He wasn't the Trickster anymore; he was a god reclaiming what was his. Every thrust was a reclamation of the seven years they had lost. He moved with a rhythmic, pounding intensity, his hands pinning yours above your head as he filled the emptiness that had threatened to consume you. "You're mine," he hissed into your ear, his teeth grazing your scent gland. "No more cages. No more brothers. Just me." “Alpha.” You moaned out, back arching. It didn’t take long for your climax to built. His hips continued to snap and you started to feel his knot grow. Then a white-hot fire spread from your core to your fingertips. You felt Gabriel’s body stiffen as his knot swelled. You let out a soundless scream as he locked himself inside you, his teeth bit down at your neck, claiming you. He stayed there, knotted deep inside you, his breath hitching against your neck. The silence of the bunker was no longer a tomb; it was a sanctuary. "I promised," Gabriel whispered, his voice soft and thick with exhaustion. "I promised I'd take you somewhere nice." "You're here," you murmured, drifting into the first peaceful sleep you’d had in years. "That's enough." "No," Gabriel said, kissing your temple. "It's not. We're going to France. I have a villa. We're going to eat nothing but crepes and stay in bed for a century." He pulled you closer, his wings wrapping around the both of you in the dark of the bunker, finally at peace. "I'm never letting go, Y/N," he promised. "Never again."
