About you:
Hi! My name’s Guendalina, I’m in Italian girl soon (I hope) to graduate in Economies and management for Arts, Culture, Media and Entertainment and I’ve been writing since I learnt how to. I’ve had my first approach with fanfiction about nine years ago, although I probably wrote them before (I simply didn’t call them fanfictions). I’ve started writing firstly in Italian, which is my mother tongue and only recently I’ve started to write in English, sometimes translating from a first draft in Italian and sometimes writing directly in English.
I love writing as an expression of myself and I’m always willing to explore new stuff from domestic fluff to more kinky smut. I’m highly depended on inspiration, meaning I can pass from writing thousand of words in a day to not writing anything for weeks. I’m more used to write OS and ficlet than to write longfic, mostly because I tend to lose interest for the WIPs.
I love angst and I’m willing to specialize in it, loving especially the “angst with an happy ending” trope. I don’t normally follow fanfic trend, as I write mostly for myself. So I guess that for appreciating what I write you have to like the same things and tropes I do.
My writing style change with time, but I guess it’s mostly based on short and dry sentences, with few ambient and people’s physical descriptions and a greater focus on characters’ motivations and psychology. My writing is simple, going directly to the point; but I also try to adapt the style on the story I’m writing at the moment. But if you are looking for flowing prose full of adjectives and deliciously slow paragraphs I’m not the person for you.
