Ce n'était pas une inconnue qui passait devant elle, c'était Nahis, la petite fille qui lui avait offert son nom et qui était morte dans ses bras. Même légèreté dans les gestes, même mélange de gravité et de vivacité dans le regard, même force affichée cachant mal une réalité plus désemparée. Devoir et solitude. Crainte et lumière. Ombre et courage.

Watched episode 4 of La Quête d'Ewilan animated series. Went and reread the epilogue of Ellana - L'Envol. Cried. Bone apple teeth!

One of my favorite childhood author died in 2007. He did not had time to finish all of his project.

And yet, today his work has been adapted in a animated series, his book are still sold in every bookstore.

This book series is becoming a classic book for the kid/teenager in my country.

I don't know it makes me emotional, that despite his death, his work is still beloved by thousand. That kids are still reading it. I know that a lot of book are like this. But this author is writting for the kids and usually those book don't stay in the shelves for too long. Also I grow up with his book and I remember feeling devastated when I learn of his passing.
