happy pride to trans men btw🏳️⚧️🏳️⚧️
they killed him for this
prism is a little overwhelmed
Brooo I think the tattoo artist I've chosen really might've been the best possible choice because she just sent me the sketch and it's >>>> PERFECT
I'm so excited!
what if I finally watch shadows house it seemed like a nice mystery anime
oh it's actually cute okay
*the horrors*
hey WHAT THE FUCK.
Happy pride month!! Reminder that trans rights are human rights & theres no LGBT without the T 🏳️🌈🫂🏳️⚧️
Shout out to Sherwinn-Williams, the only paint company that advocates drowning the Earth
genuinely one of the most cartoonishly evil looking logos/mottos a company has ever had, always scared me as a little kid lol
I love how it's not "Cover the Earth in color!" or anything happy like that. It's just cover the Earth, and it's a command. There is no beauty here, only the sound of a flood of paint overwhelming and erasing man
the fact that its red, too. like contextually you know it's paint, but if you remove the paint can, this looks like a political cartoon by a rabid conspiracy theorist about how the global shadow government Wants To Drown The World In Blood
my stance on the trans athlete debate is always and forever going to be that sports should be completely desegregated because humans have one of the smallest levels of sexual dimorphism in the animal kingdom and the disparity we see between male and female performance is entirely caused by social factors rather than anything biological. “should trans women compete against cis women” i think cis men and cis women could compete fairly but that’s apparently a little too spicy for people to wrap their minds around bc they’ve been told their whole lives women are biologically inferior & never thought to question that. or wonder if it’s maybe a self fulfilling prophecy of some kind. are women biologically inferior or do they appear so because patriarchy demands that of us?
This phrase has already entered my vocabulary re: media criticism where like. The viewer has a concrete view of what they expect a story to be based on the tropes and cliches they're used to seeing together, and when that doesn't happen, they judge it as a failed depiction of what they assumed it was going to be instead of judging it as what it actually is.
"This show is problematic because the hero didn't kill the villain at the end": When does he steal the bread?
"These two characters who were close friends throughout the series don't kiss at the end! What the fuck?": When does he steal the bread?
"This feels like it's missing a conclusion! Like, the protagonist does bad stuff and because of a critical decision he makes as a result of his major character flaws, meets tragedy in the end! Where's the part where he learns better and brings is love back from the dead and becomes a good guy and gets a happy ending?": When does he steal the fucking bread??
I heard this out as "When criticizing something, you must judge it for what it is, not what it isn't"
#this is why so many of us urge people to get a wider diet of stories
call me crazy but i think public transportation should explicitly also be for actively drunk/high people. so they don’t, you know, drive under the influence.
i literally don’t care how afraid you are of drunk people. if they’re behaving well enough then there’s no reason to kick them off the bus.
if you can’t recognize it’s better for society for drunk people to have a way home that doesn’t involve them driving and potentially getting people killed then you just kind of suck actually.
So I've seen that recent post about the way Aya Kusube drew Gengar and Haunter in 1999, and I fell in love with the style.
So I wanted to try to replicate the artstyle with this little Pokemon illustration!
Boo.
It's glow worms season babe!!
I feel like a lot of people get "All Art is Political" confused with "All Art is made with Political Intentions" which is not the same.
trans women and trans men and nonbinary people and everyone else being friends and holding each other close and falling in love and thinking of each other. I'm making this my future. let's all be okay together
