it’s centered on his life apparently and i truly don’t think they’ll talk about this i just hope it won’t be a whole new show but an animated series or a mini series and nothing more because i don’t really see the point 

it’s like adapting a fanfic of Picard living happily with his horses on screen except they’ll make money out of this because corporations like CBS are currently extracting every last drop of big franchises like Trek to sell a variety of nostalgic packaged entertainment to different group of fans

the infuriating thing is bryan fuller actually wanted to do an anthology?? but they told him no?? (and now we don't even have him anymore.) and now it feels like they're trying to do that after all, but with several shows instead of just one.

i was going to add miss fisher’s murder mysteries, but then i couldn’t find your post again. leverage is like peak found family, and it’s difficult to find something that compares, but miss fisher’s comes close.

oh, that sounds great! I had my eyes on that show for a while now, but didn’t know it fits the category. Will definitely check it out!

I am!  I’ve been hearing about it for years, but just never really got around to it before.  It’s definitely not what I was expecting, and I mean that in a good way, though finding out it was written by the same guy that penned the screenplay for Brazil certainly explains a few things.

i’ve never seen the perfect game, but the fact that the anon said “south american” when mexico is in north america, is honestly…… uh, we’ll just go with amusing.

To be fair I don’t remember how much the movie stresses or not that it’s Mexico, maybe it’s plausible anon didn’t know. Also people tend to use “South America” and “Latin America” as synonyms. Yes, they aren’t, but it’s a common mistake to make.

I'm with you. It was underwhelming and disappointing and I don't really know how I'm supposed to be elated and excited about it. It's just sorta. Meh.

My feelings exactly. I know my expectations were too high but I still thought we’d have more than that, especially when Steven, Peter, and Jenna had all expressed a desire for Clara to return. And what was all the fuss about the diner being booked again?? Did they have something else planned but scrapped it for scheduling reasons or??

i take it as the doctor remembers her, gets to keep her in their mind & storm room, and clara gets to still be alive rather than a memory-glass person.

This is a good way of thinking about it. I am glad she wasn’t a memory-glass person because I think that would’ve pissed me off more. I just feel as though her being actually alive gave them a chance to do something real with her and instead we got that.

I had this exact problem when I was writing Rosemary, tttio, and It's Loveliness Increases at the same time. I kept having to rewrite whole paragraphs.

Honestly I’m going to have to devote a good chunk of time one day to rewriting the new chapters and editing the old ones because right now it’s just soooo janky.  Like you can really tell where I left off and where I started over and where I’ve had to bounce between other things.  It’s kind of embarrassing.  I’m glad to be getting closer to done, at least?  That’s something.
