STRONG AGREE. He acts dumb but has also shown to be shrewdly competent and aware of what's going on. He hasn't lived this long by luck.

He knows exactly what’s going on and he puts in the amount of effort he needs to for the job to get done. Of course he slacks off in the big group ones, he has the others to do the work for him.

He also is *very* good at manipulating people into being where he wants them to be (like in the job with Zillah when he managed to get the betting area empty).

“Well you see, my dear,” Barnaby began, “Edvard bet me I couldn’t put eye patches on all of the statues and now I’m being chased.”

Lilith blinked. Behind Barnaby, there were statues. None of them had eye patches on them. There were no screams or other hints of him being chased. In fact, he was standing out in the open, looking positively relaxed.

“As thanks, I brought a high quality brandy,” Barnaby continued after she was silent a bit too long, holding it up for her to see.

Shaking her head with a smile, Lilith pushed away from the window. “Don’t get caught while I’m on my way down.”

She missed the happy dance.

GOD. Thinking about it from the kokoro is the absolute worst, gotta think of it logistically.

Husband: Jeeves. He is incredibly husbando material. I can be a breadwinner but baby I can't cook or clean, and all my family problems would be solved with wacky hijinks.

Best Friend: 12. Jeeves and 12 would actually be reversed, but I don't want the responsibility of the Doctor being in love with me and what that could potentially do to the universe if something happened to me. That's a LOT. Besties, can handle. We can go to concerts and stuff. Start a garage band. Yeah.

One-Night Stand: Piers. I mean he's great, but he's a hot adventurer, that is quintessential one-night stand and a note on the pillow the next morning stuff. Also idk if he can cook.
