so I officially finished reading the entire vampire chronicles after i decided to randomly watch a little show called “interview with vampire” in august 2024 and now almost 2 years later I’m glad i decided to forge my own opinion about these absolute unhinged books so here’s my little ranking

idk if it’s a usual ranking or not but let me say that i was surprised that people didn’t like the realms of atlantis because as a sci fi nerd I loved it and i thought that adding an entire new mythology to a whole universe that you were writing about for over 40 years was quite brave and ambitious

also i was prepared to hate blood canticle because of all the bad reviews but i actually liked everything except the taltos part and lestat soothing rowan when she realised they were vampires is a part that will stay engraved in my head helppp (read this part if you haven’t trust me)

i really hated merrick because it ruined david forever for me and i hate anne for this and honestly vittorio could have been ranked after memnoch idc memnoch had great lesmand moments but it almost killed me with boredom

so anyway i loved this universe and the characters aaaand lestat he’s now my favorite immortal imbecile i love him so much and i can’t wait to see the real version of him portrayed in the next season (it’s going to ruin us all)
