@gwkimmy: I'm not keen on the Dems (never have been) but it's entirely stupid to argue that they are "just as bad" as the gop. They can't be compared. Dems are full of some latent ignorance. Gop are actively trying to harm people. Fuck them.

I’m just so tired of people chasing unicorn dreams of “perfect politics”. These people want to scream online everyday about starting the revolution to destroy our current government system, but we all know they aren’t gonna do shit. Because they never do shit. The people who are doing shit are those who negotiated the bill in Congress on the weekend to get more stuff for lower-income families, who are preparing for the election in November to get Trump and other Republicans out of office, who are helping organize local efforts to mitigate this crisis, a.k.a the DEMOCRATS. But people want to say the Dems are just as bad as the GOP just because the stimulus bill isn’t as good as they wanted it to be, completely ignoring the fact that the Senate has a Republican majority and thus, this required compromises. People will scream about how shitty this is day to night, but then when the time comes to vote Republicans out, they don’t or they vote for a third-party candidate, because “both candidates are bad” or something equally bullshit. So much of what’s online is just posturing and I’m sick of it. I’d rather participate in an imperfect system while fighting to make it better, than merely shout criticisms of it from the outside and doing nothing else.

Oh, that’s really weird. I haven’t a clue why that is... I don’t think I’ve done anything weird in my settings lol I tried googling it and I found this as a potential solution but it’s really only applicable for non-mobile users (which I don’t know if you are lol). Other than that, I can’t think of a reason. Anyone else having this trouble/have a solution? Sorry I wasn’t more helpful!

oh man, where do i start...plot-wise it’s perfct, it’s a perfectly balanced mixture of angst and smut and fluff, the artstyle is so gorgeous, the smut is so hot and sexy to a level that makes no even sense. i cried so hard over this manhwa, i felt every single ounce of pain within every fiber of my being.

recently discovered, it was love at first sight. the story is wonderful, colorful, and so so cute. the artstyle is peculiar but so good nonetheless. it has a sensuality that i can’t quite understand but it’s addictive. yohan is a cutiepie and needs to be protected forever.

i love this story so much, it’s so interesting and well-written. the characters designs are so fraking  beautiful and JESUS FUCKING CHRIST the smut is pure gold.

i love it, and i’m very sad i wasn’t able to read it all the way through. the artstyle was so pretty and the story had that cuteness to it that made it quite impossible not to love. i wish i knew korean goddammit!

Yes! I agree. Thank you, @gwkimmy! It all boils down to greed and lust for power. For some reason, it warms my heart when I think Misumi gives his power and influence to those who don't want it yet exactly the people who deserve it, since they will never abuse it. Meanwhile, Hirata is the complete opposite and his intentions are just too obvious, you can't possibly fathom what he can do with so much power. Ugh, I love Saezuru, the Yakuza plot is as riveting as the romance. It's so refreshing when you read a bunch of Yaoi.

I'm not saying you have to support mangadex at all. Plenty of other scanlators don't. I haven't looked that deeply in their forums, but they do have posts in regards to transparency and where donations go. I agree completely that scanlator consent should be prioritized and sometimes the mod team rubs me the wrong way, but I don't have any doubts that these people aren't doing it for the money like the rest of them definitely are.

It’s obvious enough that they have good intentions. But keep thinking about it. Let’s say for the sake of argument that the mods of MangaDex don’t make a single penny off of their donations and merchandise sales. There are still people profiting off this website. The companies that host their servers, the companies that produce and ship their merchandise. There’s someone, somewhere, making money off of it. They say in one of their forum posts that they won’t disclose actual dollar numbers because it can attract attention from publishers who feel like they’re being cheated out of their money. They should feel cheated, because they are. If you have the disposable income to donate to a website like MangaDex or to buy their merchandise, just buy the manga.

Um, I mean, none of the ones I have, and I have quite a few. Her doujinshi tends to be more story-oriented. That’s not to say there isn’t any sexual content, but it’s not any more detailed or explicit than what she does more commercially.
