It was just a normal day for the Pearl, she stood outside whichever room her Diamond work in and made sure nobody disturbed her. Yellow  took pride in every aspect of her job, but turning other gems away was just one of her favorite things to do.

Sadly today was just a boring day for her, she felt like she was on the outer edge of Homeworld with how little gems were around. Well it was the reason her Diamond had chose this Place so she could work in quiet without any noises gems could make in the hall.

While arguably that made the Pearls job easier, it also made it extremely boring. The pale gem had lost all track of time by now, lost in her own thoughts. She was snapped out of them eventually when she noticed somebody coming her way.

A Black Spinel? well that was something she did not see everyday, but that did not matter now. She couldn’t let the other disturb her Diamonds work!

“Do you have an appointment with Yellow Diamond? If not you will need to turn back. If by chance you do however, state your name,facet and the reason for the meeting”

The Pearl was certain that the dark colored gem had no business at all here. But is was protocol to ask, so she did. Not in any way friendly or sweet like some Pearls did, but she asked.

Appearance: She has a grey skin tone and a black eye. She has this hairstyle and wears this lipstick. She wears this two piece. Along with these socks and shoes. 

Bio: She’s silent like blue pearl but is almost always frowning or glaring in your direction. Due to gems mistreating her owner she has grown to hate everyone besides her. She has issues trusting others and is quite the spiteful gem. She provides her owner with companionship and often comforts her.

I thought the movie was amazing!! It was kinda heartbreaking yet so amazing that we have an offical Spinel. The progression Spinel had through the movie was just beautiful and I feel such a connection to Spinel more than I thought I would. As well the soundtrack was so beautiful and every song made me smile or cry or both! I'm still somewhat crying as I type this!

yes!!!! my first gemsona before i settled on tanzanite was a spinel, so getting to watch her in the movie was extra special for me. i felt super connected to her as well and she was relatable in a lot of ways i wasn’t expecting.

i can’t wait for them to release the soundtrack!!!!!!! WHAT A MOVIE!

Gem cafe

The sun shone bright as it always did in beach city, and it was like every other day, except for the rumor that a new cafe had opened up. Rabbot though she didnt have to eat did like to watch people and dissect the local cuasine to recreate later for the universe boys.

So the humanoid automoton went to check out this new eatery, if it was good she might even convince the others to check it out. When she walked theough the door she was greeted by sharks, lots of them. The cafe seemed to be shark themed. It was appropriate, seeing as how they were a city by the beach. Her ear sensors picked up on the spunds of music and cooking and bustling about. Her nose sensors pick up on the food, its interesting.

But what got her was the person...well rather gem running the joint. A spinel it seemed. Odd, shed never heard of a spinel in the area, let alone one that ran a cafe. Well, she might talk to the new gem, learn about them. It was her job to do so, figure out if the gem was decent or not. She seemed decent enough however.

Tigereye held a human in a headlock in a back alley, urging the Topaz to hurry up with the scan of the human. The pink gem shushed the quartz warrior as they completed the scan, the light dissipating from their gem. Tigereye, having grown tired of the human’s struggling, hurriedly knocked the creature unconscious before heaving them up in her arms and carrying the person off to where the ship was hidden.

Pink Topaz, knowing that the humans would seek out their missing pack member, began to set up a series precautions to make sure Tigereye wouldn’t get stopped, though with her, she could beat boulders to dust in mere seconds.

Topaz scooted out of the alley, running the opposite direction from the ship, hopefully distracting any Earthlings that saw what happened.

        It was... unnerving, to say the least, when a new gem found its way to the         place she now called home, a small sanctuary filled with roses she had         tended to life herself. Pearl was by her side, of course, and several other         gems had joined her cause but.. they were but a small rebellion. She was         often on guard when a sole gem wanted to meet with her.

                    “...May I ask why you’re here?”
