Rain clinked harmlessly off the Spartan's MJOLNIR armor. The low rumble of thunder made the air around them seem to vibrate angrily, though the lightning that preceded it was far out of sight. She stared up at the sky for a long while.

"EDI, I know this might sound really dumb, but...you're part of the ship and in this body? How is it possible for you to divide yourself like that? Is it similar to the way that they Geth are a hivemind, or whatever? There are multiples of you controlled by one main...thing?"
