imagine if one of the Plusion kids ended up in the cult that summoned fester and was the only actual survivor and got stuck with fester and slowly slowly realized that the demon summoned into (what was probably) their friend’s body is not the guy they were looking for but was still stuck serving them because 1. They promised and Fester bound them to their word 2. They don’t know what else they’d do anyways
imaging if judge got used for the ritual instead of H!DS Bobby so Bobby is the one trying to help the demon despite being quite sure that something is terribly wrong
somehow had a thought about Sparrow (after figuring out what happened to spindle but possibly before being able to do anything about it) getting caught in a time loop that starts the day he broke Spindle free.
Specifically as he’s opening the door. He kind fades into consciousness as that conversation happens so there’s no bailing on that plan.
So he has to try to keep Spindle away from Pulaski and Fester
But Fester figures out real fast that something is Wrong. This random human knows something about them, knows what they’re planning. They are faintly aware of some time loop fuckery happening but they can’t remember anything except that Sparrow’s been trying to keep Spindle away from them this whole time.
And unfortunately that’s just making them even more curious about him.
Spindle has no idea what’s going on and is getting more weirded out as the loops go on but Sparrow finds a way to convince him to just trust him.
Trust isn’t enough to save him from Fester, though. And every time Fester (be it themselves or through Pulaski) does manage to kidnap him, the loop resets
i had a silly little mental image about hte many robots au
imagine fester makes themselves known after all the robots have more-or-less settled into their new lives after Puzzle was arrested and they got their memories back
and Fester can't control the robots the way they can with humans and monsters, so Michael and Korvos recruit as many of them (not Vida) as they can to help deal with them. But the robots haven't fully settled into their new bodies yet and even though they're much closer to their old fleshy ones, they'd gotten used to the clunky ones Puzzle first put them in, and try as they might Percy and Freddy are having a hell of a time trying to put traps together. Michael's the only other one who knows how to make traps, but that makes him the only engineer they have. which isn't great
and while they're all trying to figure out what to do about this, Michael has an idea. An idea that no one will like.
But it's the best idea they have, and after a lot of debate it is grudgingly decided that they can ask Puzzle for help. he is unfortunately the best trap builder they know. And they all speak from experience.
Puzzle is probably still in therapy. He's very surprised to see Michael and is kind of unsure, but Michael just asks if he'd mind helping them deal with a problem. A problem that could fuck over the entire MV. He probably offers something in exchange but idk what yet. Puzzle wants more details before he agrees but as soon as Michael mentions his family being involved he's ready to go. If they're getting in the middle of this and he's being given the opportunity to help them not get hurt he's going to do everything he can.
and somehow, he's right there when Fester appears. They have to go through a whole fuck-ton of traps to get to him, but he's there. And they know a little about what's happening. They taunt him, ask him why he's helping the others. They don't appreciate him. They hate him. Why should he indulge them when they're so ungrateful.
And Puzzle, without hesitation, looks them right in the eyes and says, calmly, "Did it occur to you that there might be a reason they don't want me around?"
Fester is caught off-guard.
"I took so much from them, they have every right to be angry. But they're still my family, and if they want my help, I'm going to do everything i can to help them, and keep them safe."
and maybe if they're lucky he gets to hit a button and fester is caught and korvos can swoop in and drag them back to the demon realm. and puzzle gets to have a badass moment. but really i just wanted fester to try and get puzzle to betray his 'allies' and join fester's side only for puzzle to be like "are you stupid or something? no."
i pulled a name out of thin air for the kid, but yeah. that's the real 'Bobby'. and she's alive! mostly! also i forgot she was supposed to be like 15 so now she's closer to 10. oops?
You'll note the funky black marks on her chest? yeah she went through some shit. It doesn't bother her (much.) anymore, but it does hurt if you apply pressure, like a bruise.
Blake was a faun already. since her possession, she acquired more horns (mainly the spikse in the middle), claws, and those glowing tattoo things. The tiny horns were there originally, and had just started to grow, but they changed colors once Fester moved in. Also, those 'tattoos' are actually the magic keeping her alive, and while they don't hurt her, they may dim or flicker if she overexerts herself. Which is much easier now than it used to be.
As a faun she'd already had better hearing and sense of smell than a human, but she can sense the power of beings around her; particularly demonic and otherwise magical beings.
Almomon isn't ever seen in their real form anymore, but that's what they looked like. not much different from normal.
Blake and Almomon, who prefers to be addressed as 'Fester' and hasn't told anyone except (maybe) Blake what their real name is, switch control of their shared body. When Fester is in control, they can use some of their demonic magic. Blake can also use some, but it doesn't come naturally to her.
haha i forgot to save the first one as the ref (pain and agony)
Spindle
Normal catfolk (past) on the left, and demon catfolk (present) on the right. He got to keep the necklace (which is from sparrow) and gloves, since he wasn't kidnapped, didn't lose his mind, and they actually wanted to help. Unfortunately the rest of his clothes didn't fit him anymore. can you do me a favor and just pretend they have both feet on the platform and they're not partially hovering. okay thank you
he thinks he's very cool now (and he's right) and likes showing off. especially to sparrow. shocking i know
Physical changes include longer fur, weirder teeth, weirder eyes, horns, fur color changing, tail shape changing, and longer claws, arms, and legs. He can also run on all fours now.
Regarding the cane: It's possible for him to walk without it. But it's not recommended and he can't go very far. Like. walking across the house is probably all he can do without having serious problems. This does mean he can do funky fighting poses for a minute or two though.
anyway you'd be surprised how easy it is to get away with stealing stuff when everyone thinks you're too disabled to be a threat. it still pisses him off but hey. he's got shinies. it'll be a bit harder to do that now that he's a clearly a demon, and also he's hanging out with a fricken paladin, but he's totally turned over a new leaf! (he says, slipping a stolen trinket into sparrow's pocket)
Pulaski
Couldn't decide between bear furry and a dragonborn for a while, but bear 100% fit better i think. look at him. i love him. he could probably pick fester up with one hand like they weigh nothing.
He ran into this random kid wandering around on her own and asked where her parents were. Blake cheerfully informed him that she's possessed and doesn't need parents, at which point Fester took over and actually. explained.
See the thing is, as much as Fester wants to help, they have no idea how to take care of a kid. They can keep her alive, sure, but actually taking care of her is a whole other thing. pulaski help
Pulaski was happy to help, though admittedly for a while he was waiting for Fester to jump him or something. He's quite glad the demon is actually chill. fester is quite glad pulaski was willing to help at all.
Blake was kinda pissy about Fester asking Pulaski to stay with them for a while, because she really didn't think she needed an adult. but if anyone talks shit about pulaski now she's gonna start biting. very literally. watch out. that's her papa bear don't you dare say anything bad about him
...now i'm imagining him picking her up by the scruff of her neck while she screeches and tries to fight whoever was talking shit. biting and clawing at the air like an angry kitten. i think this is officially my favorite version of the creepypasta squad
Sparrow
i did what i could to get him to match the house sparrow's colors. but there's only so much i could do. Anyway 1/2 human, 1/2 birdfolk. he takes after his birdfolk parent a lot more. idk man something about spindle being a cat and sparrow being a bird and them dating
anyway jseus chirst that side profiule is so fcuking cool no wonder spindle is so down bad
I am legally required to inflict more Supernova on everyone
So I’ve played around with them in the Final Girl Finch ending, and implied some stuff about the Delusional ending.
I also said that Fester would be collateral damage and not survive to watch how all this ends, but I’m going to play with Supernova in Red Sky and a liiittle but more in Delusional
So firstly, Delusional
While I didn’t say anything specifically, the fact that Delusion’s got hearts spinning around his head when he sees Slash (exaggeration) isn’t really changing his goals. The only difference is that now he needs to make absolutely sure that Slash is part of the world he’s trying to build. And Byte, probably. He doesn’t know much about her personally but Pluto and Slash care about her a lot so obviously she needs to stay. But he was planning to try to keep her around anyways for Pluto; he just has extra reason to now.
If he tries brainwash any of them though he’s going to have to do all three of them. Because they’re going to be pissed, and they’re too close to try to do one at a time.
Which means…slash. Slash is getting brainwashed.
And unless something catastrophic happens, she won’t even notice.
But this does also mean it’s much more likely that the Horror Squad will “reform” and join Delusion to help him deal with certain people.
On the bright side, she’s gotten over how pissed she is about liking him? So it’s slightly better?? But mainly just for Delusion.
…oh yeah Hunter still died. slash sees him near byte and in .5 seconds he’s bleeding out on the ground. Byte survives at the cost of one (1) Hunter
yknow they might show Gouge their maze. Tiny detail but they’re going to get to hang out with her more, and all four are going to decide they’re going to be besties.
Also Gouge is told the same lie as everyone else about them reforming, but she takes one look at the squad and calls bullshit. Not in front of anyone who might be very alarmed about it, though.
Anyways gouge is part of the squad. She gets to see the maze. She thinks they’re a bunch of morons for how they themed it, but she does very much like the concept. Every once in a while they decide to have a little fun with their targets and throw them in the maze. Gouge is absolutely terrifying because she just. Walks towards you. Summons her brush. Staring you dead in the eyes.
She’s chase you, for sure. But she’s not so enamored with the thrill of the chase as she is your terror. She wants to see the fear in your eyes when she comes for you.
And you even if you don’t know what she’s actually like, something in the way she’s looking at you tells you that you won’t get the mercy of a swift death.
Sorry I didn’t mean to go off on a Gouge rant. Continuing on to Red Sky Supernova
Fester avoids being collateral damage and manages to recruit the Horror Squad to help them “confront” Delusion. They say something about knocking him down a peg and they are all pretty sure they’ve got something worse in mind than what they’re implying, but they don’t know yet that this 15-year-old is ACTUALLY possessed. They think they’ve just got some funky magic or something. They could keep them in line if they tried to go too far.
Slash thinks she can use this to get Delusion to agree to HER way of making things work. But also they all DO want to knock him down a peg, and Fester’s plan is oddly clever for someone their age.
TL;DR: they cannot keep the demon in line. Delusion and Pluto die. Fester takes over the whole universe and begins their plans to expand.
If Slash doesn’t immediately get herself killed by attacking Fester in a fit of fury, it’s just a matter of time. He had no idea any of them cared about Delusion.
There were some thoughts about Delusion and Pluto being stuck there as ghosts at one point. If they are, Pluto absolutely tells Delusion everything and swears they had no idea Fester was actually going to kill him.
Delusion fortunately believes him. They follow Byte and Slash around and try to get their attention. Slash do NOT GET YOURSELF KILLED
If Slash gets herself killed right away shes DEFINITELY sticking around as a ghost and making Fester’s life as miserable as she can.
On the bright side, she can (maybe) talk to Pluto and Delusion.
On the down side, byte’s all alone. And oh she’s furious. Ohh she’s furious.
50/50 chance she manages to banish him back to hell or just also gets herself killed.
Buuut if she does get killed they’ll at least all be able to cause Fester problems together
like there’s no Good answers here but oh boy are there tasty angst answers
Slash dying and having to face Delusion after she and her friends just got him killed. Oh she’s gonna be so fucked up. This isn’t what she wanted. God, this isn’t what she wanted.
I don’t know if Delusion would be more upset at her if she survives or dies. But I think, while he and Slash have had a history of absolutely despising each other, I don’t think he could take the idea of Pluto wanting to hurt him seriously. Other people, yeah, but not him. So. Slash has that immunity. Because Pluto sure as hell wouldn’t agree to killing him, and if Pluto wasn’t coming, the other two wouldn’t either.
He could 100% believe it if Fester told them they could keep Pluto from dying when they kill Delusion. But Pluto still wouldn’t agree to that. He has trouble imagining Slash would, but it’s much more plausible than Pluto.
but…soft ghosts? Delusion trying to tell her he forgives her as she breaks down over getting two of the three people she loves killed. Slash refusing to let either of them get near Fester, even though they’re dead, because if Fester’s a demon who knows what they could do to ghosts?
pluto and delusion taking turn third wheeling because they’re both very very important to her, just in slightly different ways, and sometimes she and Pluto are being too chaotic for Delusion or Delusion is being sappy with her and Pluto pretends to gag.
Gouge is so confused when she sees them. Mainly the fact that Delusion and Slash are genuinely just chilling with each other. Hardly any animosity. Absolutely not what she would’ve expected.
All the ghosts follow the remaining Horror Squad member(s) around tho. Trying to keep most of the demons at bay, though they can’t do much but look and act threatening.
